Residential
The boarding community at GIS provides a friendly caring environment which is based upon family values. All boarding houses are maintained by live-in House staff who in turn are supported by supervisors and matrons. Their role is committed to getting to know each individual pupil as well as ensuring that pastoral and academic monitoring takes place. House staffs are also involved in organizing evening and weekend activities; cinema, bowling and shopping to name but a few.

Sports and co-curricular activities
Over all development is the main motto of GIS. We train the pupil not only in academic Excellency but in co curricular activities. The following activities are conducted regularly in our Sports (skating , swimming, squash , basket ball, cricket, football, tennis, table tennis, chess , caroms, archery etc) Besides the coaches two Physical education teachers stay inside the campus

Communication
The internet has revolutionized communication between boarders and their families. Our Internet Café allows everyone to utilise email to its fullest extent at no extra charge.
We have ISD/STD booth to strengthen the communication between parents and boarders The parents can call the students regularly between 8.45pm to 9.45pm
Pastoral Care
A key investment is in our boarding staff. Our house parents and their assistants are faced with a greater range of boarding legislation than ever before, and are committed to professional development in all aspects of boarding education in the best interests of the children in their care.

We aim to give every pupil an Education for Life, with academic achievement as its core but with social and life skills at its heart. Girls and boys living with us do very well. . They do not have to spend hours each day traveling back and forth. Everything they could want is close to hand. Need to look something up for homework on the internet? No problem, we have masses of computers and of course our internet software protects them from the inappropriate web sites
Laundry Services
Need a clean shirt. No problem. We have a large number of laundry staff who ensure clothes and bedding all get quickly washed and turned around ~ no fuss.
Environment
Investment in quality also very much applies to the boarding environment. We have invested millions in ensuring that boarding facilities at GIS are amongst the very best in Hyderabad. Our boarding houses mirror family homes.
