Job Description

Express Employment is currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Machine Builder for a 1st Shift position in Toledo, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and building complex machinery and equipment based on technical specifications and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Assemble machines and equipment according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Install components such as motors, gears, bearings, and pneumatic parts
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure proper functioning of assembled machinery
• Perform quality checks and inspections to guarantee compliance with standards
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace during the building process
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet production schedules
• Document assembly processes and any modifications made during construction

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience as a machine builder or in a similar role
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Familiarity with hand tools and machinery used in assembly
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
