Job Description

The Assistant Executive Housekeeper supports the Executive Housekeeper in all duties of the housekeeping operation and cleanliness levels in all areas of the property. The Assistant Executive will promote an atmosphere that insures the company mission statement, “Friendliness and Cleanliness”.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Staff training
  • Inter-department communications
  • Staff scheduling
  • Inspecting all room up to brand standard and beyond
  • May include cleaning and maintaining public areas
  • Communicates effectively with guests co-workers and supervisors.
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 40lbs.
  • Follows hotel grooming and dress standards.
  • Must be able to use the equipment associated with the position including but not limited to vacuum cleaning supplies computers and safety equipment.
  • Wash windows walls ceilings and woodwork waxing and polishing as necessary.
  • Uses Housekeeping chemicals as necessary to clean assigned areas.
  • Helps Housekeeping clean rooms when necessary
  • Responsible and Accountable
  • Work 2 days as head housekeeper and the other 3 as assistant head housekeeper
