Raines Co. - Your Future is Now Position Summary: The Golf Beverage Attendant is responsible for providing friendly, timely, and professional food and beverage service to golfers and guests on the golf course. This role ensures players remain refreshed throughout their round while maintaining excellent customer service, cleanliness, and adherence to alcohol service laws and company standards. Reports to: Director of Food & Beverage Essential Functions:

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with retail POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
  • Familiarity with the golf industry.
  • Alcohol server certification (TIPS, ServSafe, or state equivalent preferred).
  • Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate the beverage cart or on-course station, providing prompt service to players and guests.
  • Maintain an upbeat, courteous, and professional demeanor at all times, representing the club’s hospitality standards.
  • Accurately record sales and handle cash, credit, and member charges following company procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels; restock beverages, snacks, ice, and supplies as needed.
  • Ensure cart cleanliness, organization, and safety, including proper storage and cleaning at the end of each shift.
  • Check player IDs to verify legal drinking age and comply with all alcohol service laws.
  • Communicate effectively with the clubhouse, kitchen, and golf staff regarding supply needs, player feedback, and service issues.
  • Support golf tournaments and special events as needed, including setup and breakdown.
  • Follow all health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
  • Provide a friendly and engaging experience that enhances each guest’s round.
  • Anticipate player needs and exceed expectations.
  • Represent the property with professionalism, enthusiasm, and pride.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong customer service skills and the ability to address member needs professionally and promptly Physical: Frequent sitting, standing, bending and moving about the facilities. Handling objects, products and equipment. Using keyboards and other office computer equipment. Working outdoors in all types of weather events, including extreme heat and/or cold. Occasionally push, pull and lift items weighing up to 30 pounds. Must communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must observe details at close range. Work Hours and Schedule: This position may require flexibility in terms of work hours. While the standard work week is typically 40 hours, the demands of the role may frequently require additional hours. The specific schedule and hours will be determined at the discretion of the Company based on business needs. Other: Must speak English fluently. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Mathematical skills include basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages and variances. Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities are often used. Ability to effectively multi-task.
