Job Title: Construction Field Inspector

Job Overview

We're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure compliance with construction specifications and drawing requirements. This role involves inspecting completed construction, conducting field assessments, and coordinating with various stakeholders to guarantee project quality and adherence to standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Communication and Collaboration : Maintain consistent communication with engineering teams and supervisors, both in-office and remotely.
• Construction Inspection : Inspect completed construction to assess compliance with specifications and drawing requirements.
• Field Assessment : Conduct field assessments of existing infrastructure, including poles, wires, and electrical equipment, to provide information on constructability concerns and feasibility of design.
• Stakeholder Meetings : Meet with stakeholders before, during, and after project initiation to discuss specific constraints and potential impacts on job health.
• Measurement and Documentation : Utilize measurement capturing tools, such as the "IKE" device, to capture field measurements and document existing conditions.
• Quality Assurance : Review quality assurance documents for compliance and perform document control audits on field drawings and test records.
• Client Representation : Attend pre-construction meetings to represent client and engineering staff, and meet with customers to discuss projects and provide onsite meeting information to design teams.

Requirements

• Education and Experience : High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of related experience in quality roles and procedures.
• Attention to Detail : Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Technical Skills : Strong computer and communication media skills, with advanced technical writing experience required.

Additional Responsibilities

• Safety and Compliance : Maintain compliance with all company and site safety requirements, and ensure all required licenses and certifications are up-to-date.
• Project Coordination : Assist with projects as a coordination point between work crews, engineers, and customers.
