Job Title: Derivative Trade Support Specialist

Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite in New York, 2 days remote

Type: 1-Year Contract

Pay Rate: Up to $51.86/hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a Derivative Trade Support Specialist to join the Global Derivative Operations team within Brokerage Investment Management , a leader in global investment services. This role supports a wide array of derivative trading strategies and involves direct interaction with traders, internal stakeholders, and external brokers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support regulatory and business initiatives including Client Vance integration, Project Horizon, new instrument approvals, and counterparty diversification.
• Collaborate with global Trade Support teams to manage intra-day trading activity and trade life cycle events.
• Execute derivative trade processing: affirmations, allocations, confirmations, and notifications.
• Liaise with Equity and Fixed Income traders to resolve trade discrepancies and breaks.
• Communicate with custodians, fund accountants, executing and clearing brokers to resolve post-trade issues.
• Work cross-functionally with Collateral Management, Fund Administration, and Portfolio Services teams.
• Enhance and standardize global procedures for operational efficiency.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of financial products, particularly OTC and listed derivatives (Futures, Options, Swaps, Credit Derivatives, etc.).
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment and escalate issues when necessary.
• Experience in investment operations, trade support, or brokerage preferred.
