Reports to: Director of Philanthropy

Position Overview:
The Digital Fundraising Specialist (Nonprofit)plays a key role in Resource Center’s fundraising success by planning and executing donor campaigns across multiple channels. Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy, this team member will help shape and implement direct response efforts, including year-end giving, Pride, North Texas Giving Day, and other seasonal or special campaigns.
The Digital Fundraising Specialist (Nonprofit) will collaborate with the development and marketing teams to create compelling appeals (print and digital) tailored to diverse donor segments, including monthly donors. This role requires strong writing skills, creativity, attention to detail, and a strong grasp of fundraising best practices. This is a hybrid role. 

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Director of Philanthropy to develop and execute multi-channel fundraising campaigns (direct mail, email, social media, digital ads, etc.).
  • Draft and edit donor-facing content, including appeals, landing pages, and other campaign materials.
  • Segment donor audiences to ensure messages resonate with annual donors, monthly donors, and other target groups.
  • Manage campaign timelines and coordinate deliverables with development and marketing teams.
  • Analyze campaign performance, donor engagement, and response rates to inform strategy and improve results.
  • Stay current on trends and best practices in direct response and digital fundraising.
  • Support stewardship efforts by helping craft donor thank-you messages, updates, and impact communications.
  • Contribute as a collaborative member of a growing development team, supporting a $5.5 million goal.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in fundraising, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Passion for LGBTQIA+ justice, health equity, and community-centered work.
  • Knowledge of fundraising best practices and donor stewardship principles.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create persuasive and engaging donor communications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with direct mail, Mailchimp (or similar email platforms), and social media channels for fundraising.
  • Ability to work remotely and commute to our office on a hybrid schedule.
