Job Title: Drafter (Residential Modular Home Design)

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

Job Summary:
My client is seeking a skilled Drafter with 2 years of experience to join their team in Cuero, TX, specializing in residential modular home design. The Drafter will create detailed technical drawings and plans for modular homes, ensuring accuracy, compliance with building codes, and alignment with client specifications. This role requires proficiency in CAD software and a strong understanding of residential construction principles.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings for residential modular homes using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop design concepts and ensure project requirements are met.
Review and revise drawings based on feedback, client needs, and regulatory standards.
Ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and modular construction standards.
Assist in creating material lists, specifications, and documentation for construction teams.
Maintain organized project files and documentation for reference and audits.
Support project teams with design modifications and troubleshooting during the construction phase.

Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Architecture, or a related field.
2 years of drafting experience, preferably in residential or modular home design.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD required; Revit or similar a plus).
Knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with modular construction processes is a plus.

Work Environment:
Office-based role in Cuero, TX, with occasional visits to manufacturing facilities or job sites.
Standard work hours with potential for overtime during project deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits:
