Job Description

An Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer position is currently available at Belcan in Windsor, CT. This is a full-time direct job with benefits. This Engineer II role is an opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the Quality Nonconformance team. You will be working closely with the Engineering Support to Operations Quality Nonconformance process relating to gas turbine engines. Job Duties:

• Use SAP to retrieve Quality Nonconformance information of manufactured parts.
• Review Nonconformance of parts.
• Review print requirements.
• Perform geometric tolerance studies.
• Perform structural analysis hand calculations.
• Look up and review prior history of Nonconformance.
• Create disposition package of QN and give recommendation.
• Peer review of disposition packages prior to submittal to customer.
• Close out of package and tasks in SAP

Required Qualifications:

• 0 - 2 years of experience in Quality Nonconformance or Manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Proficiency in technical documentation and print reading as well as GD&T.
• Gas turbine engine experience.
• Ability to work within an integrated product development team.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• US Citizen required due to nature of work.

This position is offering a salary rate of $65,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
