Salary: $41,600 - 62,400 per year Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• A foundational understanding of network engineering concepts and protocols.
• Familiarity with Arista Switching and Palo Alto Firewall technologies is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A desire to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and methodologies.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and software.
• Awareness of network security best practices.
• Basic scripting or programming capabilities.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) are advantageous.

• Assist in the design, implementation, and management of network infrastructure utilizing Arista Switching, Palo Alto Firewall, and ClearPass technologies.
• Monitor network performance to resolve issues promptly, ensuring optimal functionality and security.
• Collaborate with senior network engineers to create and execute network solutions that align with the organization’s objectives.
• Carry out routine network maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and configurations.
• Aid in documenting network configurations, processes, diagrams, and procedures.
• Provide support for network-related incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution.
• Engage in network security efforts, including the implementation of firewall rules and security policies.
• Stay informed about the latest developments and best practices in network engineering and security.

NexBank is on the lookout for a Junior Network Engineer to become a valued member of our IT & Security team. This full-time position is located onsite in Dallas, TX, and is associated with Phoenix Trading, Mortgage Services, and Analytics. We are seeking a candidate who has a basic understanding of network engineering principles and possesses a strong eagerness to enhance their skills. This role will primarily focus on working with Arista Switching and Palo Alto Firewall technologies.


We offer a competitive pay range of $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, with an expected commitment of 40 hours per week.
