We are currently seeking a Graphic Designer to join our creative team. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Oversee design projects, from conception to delivery 
  • Design original pieces, including illustrations and infographics 
  • Review junior designers’ work to ensure high quality 
  • Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software 
  • Apply typography techniques 
  • Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services 
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects 
  • Liaise with marketing and design teams to ensure deadlines are met 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:  

The ideal candidate should be a strong communicator who thinks creatively, is detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines. He/she should thrive in a collaborative environment and possess strong problem-solving, decision-making and organizational skills. Ideally, this person should take a customer-driven approach to creating marketing and advertising materials. 

 

  • Agency experience: 5-7 years of design work within the fast paced, deadline driven, agency environment 
  • Computer skills: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite systems: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop 
  • Analytical skills - Must be able to look at work from the point of view of target audiences and examine how the designs developed will be perceived by the audience to ensure the client’s desired message is conveyed 
  • Artistic ability - Must be able to create designs that are artistically interesting and appealing to clients and consumers, producing rough illustrations of design ideas, all with adherence to client brand standards and style guides. 
  • Communication skills - Must communicate with Project/Account Manager and Art Director to ensure that their designs accurately reflect the desired message and effectively express information. 
  • Creativity / Ideation - Must be able to think of new approaches to communicating ideas to consumers. 
  • Develop unique designs that convey a recognizable meaning on behalf of their clients. Understanding of advertising campaigns is a must. 
  • Time-management skills - Graphic designers often work on multiple projects at the same time, each with a different deadline.
