Join our dynamic team as a Lab Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products through comprehensive laboratory testing and analysis. You will be responsible for adhering to industry regulations and standard operating procedures, contributing to our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities - Perform laboratory and quality functions by testing, collecting data, and analyzing findings on raw materials.
- Comply with NY State Ag & Markets, FDA, USDA, and GMP policies.
- Adhere to all standard operating procedures and requirements as directed under standard methods for laboratory procedures.
- Conduct milk testing, product sample testing, powder testing, and full silo batch testing.
- Perform bacteria testing to ensure product safety and quality.
Essential Skills - AS or BS Degree in Biology or Chemistry.
- Laboratory instrumentation experience.
- Knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, Quality Assurance, GMP, Microbiology, Wet Chemistry, QC, and data entry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Open to candidates with educational knowledge even if no professional experience is present.
Work Environment
The position offers both day and night shifts, with hours from 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am. Work within a laboratory setting, equipped with the latest technologies and equipment necessary for conducting thorough and precise testing. The dress code requires adherence to safety and laboratory standards.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, New York.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
