A well-established mid-sized law firm located in San Francisco's Financial District is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to join their team. This role provides essential support to a senior Litigation Partner and several Associates. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation experience, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, format, and edit legal documents, correspondence, and court filings
Manage all aspects of court filings, including e-filing in both State and Federal courts
Coordinate and maintain attorney calendars, schedule depositions, client meetings, and conference calls
Assist with time entry and billing processes
Support the opening and closing of legal matters in collaboration with internal departments (e.g., records, conflicts)
Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience supporting attorneys in commercial litigation
Strong knowledge of court procedures, rules, and calendaring requirements
Demonstrated ability to handle e-filings independently
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience supporting Corporate attorneys is a plus
