Description Robert Half Legal is currently partnering with a highly regarded boutique defense law firm in Century City seeking a Litigation Legal Secretary to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. Key Responsibilities + Support attorneys in case management for litigation matters by ensuring timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks. + Draft and edit legal documents, including pleadings, discovery responses, and correspondence. + Handle court filings, including electronic filing (e-filing) in state and federal courts. + Maintain and organize case files and legal documentation (physical and digital). + Manage attorney calendars, scheduling depositions, hearings, and meetings. + Maintain correspondence with attorneys, clients, courts, and opposing counsel. + Assist with billing tasks, time entry, and expense reports as required. Requirements Qualifications + A minimum of 2 years of legal secretary experience in a litigation-focused environment. + Strong proficiency with legal software tools (e.g., e-filing systems, Microsoft Office Suite). + Familiarity with California state and federal court rules and filing procedures. + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively with attorneys and staff.
