Job Title: Load Balancer Administrator
Duration: 9 Months
Location: Harrisburg, PA – 17120 (Hybrid, 2 days onsite / 3 days remote)
Seeking a Load Balancer Administrator with strong networking expertise and deep experience in Citrix NetScaler to ensure secure, highly available, and optimized application delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, and troubleshoot Layer 4 & Layer 7 load balancing.
Install and manage Citrix NetScaler appliances/instances.
Implement HA/failover and Content Switching for application routing.
Manage SSL/TLS certificates and authentication integration.
Monitor, analyze, and resolve system issues using tools such as Wireshark and NetScaler Console.
Maintain documentation and support knowledge transfer to junior staff.
5+ years with TCP/IP, NAT, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, and security policies.
5+ years configuring and troubleshooting L4/L7 load balancing.
Hands-on with NetScaler CLI (NITRO API) & GUI.
Strong in HA, Content Switching, SSL/TLS management.
Proficient with Wireshark, log analysis, and system monitoring.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
