Our client is a leader in the fabrication industry. We are currently looking for a skilled Machine Shop Supervisor (CNC Machining) that can also machine to fill permanent roles and make a positive impact on the company.

The Machine Shop Supervisor will supervise, mentor and guide machine shop personnel. This is a working position and therefore, the supervisor is also expected to operate available machinery to manufacture products that meet or exceed customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Operates and maintains lathe, mills, saws, and other shop equipment.
• Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production.
• Selects, sets-up and operates appropriate machines for a given task.
• Programs with G Code, Programming software at workstation or at work center.
• Monitors production, adjusting speeds, feeds, and other machine settings as necessary.
• Checks output for quality assurance and documents or segregates defective parts.
• Verifies dimensions of the finished workpiece, using measuring devices.
• Follow quality and ISO guidelines to produce products within customer specifications.
• The Supervisor will be expected to train all personnel.
• Keep up with time sheets.

Qualifications:

• 7 years of machinist experience required.
• CAD/CAM software experience (preferred MasterCam)
• Possess good reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• Possess basic inventory skills.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
