Your Key Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Shift Leader, your goal is to steer production activities efficiently:

• Oversee the production shift to boost productivity and cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
• Directly manage a team often exceeding 50 staff members.
• Work closely with the Scheduler to keep daily production on track.
• Undertake supervisory roles like recruiting, training, and mentoring the staff.
• Handle work assignments, performance reviews, and staff discipline.
• Resolve complaints and streamline problem-solving processes.
• Ensure accurate daily reporting of production statistics.
• Collaborate on Quality initiatives to achieve operational goals.
• Implement, review, and update safety programs routinely.

What We Look For

• Ideally, a BA/BS in business or engineering.
• A solid two years in the manufacturing sector.
• Supervisory skills or experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Strong conflict resolution adeptness.
• Proficient in computing, with SAP experience as a bonus.

Compensation:

Pactiv Evergreen is required by laws in many locations to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Pactiv Evergreen, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $71,300 to $118,800/year.
