Job Description

Overview:

The YMCA of Pueblo is looking for a responsible and organized individual to join our Marketing team as the Marketing Assistant. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Marketing Assistant is part of the Marketing Team and will work with a variety of individuals and groups internally and externally. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, and adhere to internal and external deadlines. Strong attention to detail is a must as well as the ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School diploma
  • Associates degree in marketing, development, or business preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with Adobe Suite Tools (InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro, etc) preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, membership services, or donor relations experience preferred.
  • Ability to work well and effectively communicate with a diverse population in a wide variety of situations via telephone, e-mail, and face to face.
  • Ability to set work priorities and handle multiple tasks while ensuring processing and job responsibility deadlines are met.
    CPR, AED, Oxygen and First Aid Certification (within one month of hire).
Qualifications:
  • Support and assist the Marketing Department with day-to-day operations to include, but not limited to: working with Directors in fulfilling marketing requests, deliveries of marketing collateral to YMCA Centers, returning phone calls and emails.
  • Support Marketing Director with small projects and assist with the creation and distribution of flyers, posters, etc. both internally and externally.
  • Must be knowledgeable with Meta Business Suite (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok).
  • Maintain daily social media presence. Posting once daily to social media platforms.
  • Includes main YMCA accounts and Camp Jackson accounts (total 4 postings daily).
  • Strategic and thorough record administration and file management to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Team support for all events led by the Association to include Annual Meeting, Corporate Cup, Turkey Trot, Father Daughter Dance, and other events that may need support.

Posted Salary Range: USD $14.81 - USD $15.75 /Hr.
