Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Perform basic clinical tasks, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for exams.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our electronic health system.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure a smooth clinic operation.
• Provide patient education and support, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical area, including sterilization of equipment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic office software.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
• Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
