Position Summary:
CVS Health has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Back-End Dispensing Team in Portland, ME. Our CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy supports patients with complex conditions such as autoimmune diseases, hepatitis, HIV, oncology, and organ transplants. As a member of the back-end dispensing team, you'll play a critical role in the medication fulfillment process, ensuring prescriptions are processed, packaged, and prepared for delivery with precision and care.

Schedule:
Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM - No nights or weekends!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately fill and label prescriptions in accordance with pharmacy regulations and protocols
  • Prepare medications for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and documentation
  • Perform quality checks to verify accuracy of filled prescriptions
  • Support inventory management, including restocking and tracking medication supplies
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
  • Assist with data entry and prescription processing as needed

Required Qualifications:
  • Eligible for pharmacy technician licensure in the state of Maine
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or insurance-related fields

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous pharmacy technician experience, especially in a fulfillment or dispensing role
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with pharmacy systems and technology

Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $28.46

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
