Job Description

Triumph Integrated Systems - Electronics and Controls, located in Forest, Ohio, is a leading independent aerospace supplier of mission critical thermal and fluid management products for commercial and military platforms. The company provides solutions utilized on aircraft, engine, advance weapons pods, cruise missiles, avionics & electronic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct various tests using fluid or air, as test media, which requires proper control of flow, temperature, pressure required by applicable specifications or directed.
  • Check cracking relief pressure of units tested, check travel of thermostatic elements using dial indicator and calibrate in accordance with specifications.
  • Check accurate reading of fluid volumes in small increments, such as cubic centimeters. Record all test data performed.
  • Must be able to read rotometers, 12-20 station potentiometer and monometers of various types. Read and interpret thermometer charts and A.C. and D.C. voltmeter. Convert oil and fuel flow rates from pounds to gallons (vise versa) in hours, minutes and seconds. 
  • Assist other operators when necessary. 
  • Maintains cleanliness of work place and equipment, free of FOD.
  • Identifies any nonconformance issues and informs supervisors.
  • Maintain the equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner as to ensure the integrity of processes and equipment.
  • Move parts manually and/or with appropriate handling equipment.
  • May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes (not over OSHA permissible exposure levels)
  • Ability to train other employees, as needed.
  • Must comply with FAA requirements for “safety sensitive” position.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and write, interpret measurements and readings, exercise sound independent judgment.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and work process instructions.
  • Ability to move parts and equipment in a safe and practical manner.
  • Ability to relate to and interact appropriately with others in a team environment and a willingness to assist, educate and train others.
  • Ability to use hand tools and inspect gauges.
  • Consistently comply with all applicable safety and health rules and regulations including compliance with a respiratory protection program and hearing conservation, if applicable. 
  • Must comply with FAA requirements for “safety sensitive” position.
  • Must have a high school diploma or a GED.
  • Pursuant to International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”), applicants for SELECT positions will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residence, or U.S. Immigration Status in order to meet the minimum qualifications for those select positions. All inquiries related to citizenship are asked solely to comply with ITAR and EAR export licensing requirements.
