Position Title: Provider & Executive Recruiter
Reports To: President/COO
Location: Remote
The Provider & Executive Recruiter will serve as a key talent acquisition partner for a national orthopedic Management Services Organization (MSO). This role is responsible for full-cycle recruitment of orthopedic physicians, advanced practice practitioners (APPs), and executive leaders to support the growth and operational excellence of affiliated practices and ambulatory surgery centers across the country. The Recruiter will develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies, build and maintain candidate pipelines, and ensure a seamless candidate experience while advancing the organization’s brand in competitive markets.
- Partner with physician leaders and practice executives to identify current and future provider staffing needs.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to attract orthopedic surgeons, subspecialists, APPs (PAs, NPs), and other providers as directed.
- Manage all stages of the recruitment process: job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, site visits, offers, and onboarding transitions.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with candidates, physician groups, training programs, and industry associations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and recruit executive leaders across operations, finance, marketing, and strategy.
- Leverage networking, industry knowledge, and executive search best practices to identify high-caliber leadership candidates.
- Guide stakeholders through structured interview processes and selection decisions.
- Develop and maintain recruitment metrics dashboards (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate pipeline health, etc.).
- Create and deliver recruitment marketing collateral to highlight organizational culture, mission, and career opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws, credentialing requirements, and organizational policies.
- Partner with HR and onboarding teams to ensure smooth candidate transition into the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive recruiting experience, including at least 2 years in healthcare provider or executive recruitment.
- Experience in orthopedic or specialty physician recruitment strongly preferred.
- Track record of successful national search execution in competitive healthcare markets.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, including digital sourcing, social media strategies, and executive search methodologies.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills with physicians, executives, and stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple searches and competing priorities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Time-to-fill for provider and executive roles.
- Candidate satisfaction and quality of hire (measured by retention, performance feedback).
