DESCRIPTION:  

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior iOS Application Developer to lead the development of sophisticated native applications for the Apple iPhoneOS platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in developing native iOS applications, a strong understanding of the underlying operating system, and proficiency in Objective-C, Swift, and C languages. Experience with custom kernel requests is highly valued. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex features while adhering to the highest standards of quality and security. 

Day-to-day responsibilities and duties include: 

  • Lead the design, architecture, and development of high-performance native applications for Apple iPhoneOS
  • Utilize deep knowledge of Objective-C and Swift languages to build robust and scalable iOS applications. 
  • Leverage expertise in the C Language for lower-level development tasks and system interactions. 
  • Design and implement custom kernel requests as needed to achieve specific application functionalities and system-level interactions. 
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs and wireframes into functional and visually appealing user interfaces. 
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards. 
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the application lifecycle.
  • Optimize application performance, ensuring responsiveness and efficiency. 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in iOS development and the Apple iPhoneOS ecosystem. 
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior iOS developers. 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools. 
  • Collaborate effectively within an agile development environment. 
  • Take ownership of the technical aspects of iOS application development and delivery. 

REQUIREMENTS:  

Applicants MUST  

- must be able to qualify and maintain security clearance.  

 

- have at least 2 y ears of Senior iOS application developer exp erience and have a good understanding of professional business environments. 

- be very friendly and able to calmly handle clients and staff 

- be able to carry themselves in a professional manner  

- be punctual, responsible, and reliable 

- have good written and verbal communication skills (answering the phone and composing emails in a professional manner)

Job Type: Full-time 

Pay: From $107,000 per year excluding bonus and benefits. 

Schedule: 

  • The schedule for this position is project driven and can be highly variable depending on project deadlines and the specific needs of the software development teams. 
  • Monday to Friday 
  • Weekends as needed
