Proficient in UX design principles with a strong online portfolio showcasing passed UX experience. (Required to supply online portfolio with application)
Primary Skill Required User Experience Designers will have a primary focus of user research (creating research plans, facilitating the research, and synthesize the findings) using the insights to propose recommendations and design solutions (wireframing and low-fidelity designs) for intuitive new/improved user experiences.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - 3+ years hands-on experience as UX Designer, preferably as a member of UX team(s)
- 2+ years hands-on experience in UX design, UX research or UX interaction design
- Must have the ability to lead creation of user personas, experience maps, and information architecture
- Familiarity with digital design and understanding digital analytics
- Uses the UX design process to approach solving digital design challenges
- Experienced with creating and conducting moderated and unmoderated usability studies
- Experienced with common design software (Figma, Axure, Adobe products, Keynote/PPT for the creation of IXD artifacts, documentation, and presentations -or- fluency with Photoshop and Illustrator
- Ability to design for and execute across multiple interfaces, platforms and channels (Web, email, mobile, social media)
- Fluent in responsive design
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate ideas through effective storytelling with sketches, wireframes, comps and prototypes
- Familiarity with Google Analytics or other Web analytics solutions (Google Analytics, Optimizely, Contentsquare)
- Familiarity with ADA compliance requirements
- Understanding of branding as it relates to user experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Bachelor's degree in design or related field
- Experience working in an agile environment

User Experience Designers - Advocate for users across the organization and communicate the value and principles of user-centered design
- Iterate on ideas based upon validated learning, critique, and collaboration
- Create personas, user flows, empathy maps, journey maps, experience maps, information architecture and other documents to document and communicate research findings
- Design task analysis, user flows and stories, navigation, content hierarchies, interaction design, and functioning prototypes
- Establish and evolve designs to meet user needs under various scenarios (browser, screen size, screen readers, etc.)
- Understand digital accessibility and design using best practices for ADA compliance to ensure that designs and code provide progressive enhancements and accessibility for all users
- Engage in project strategy planning
- Effectively manage their workflow to meet expectations and deadlines
- Collaborate with Developers to solve UX issues with layout and functionality-based solutions
- Work closely with Stakeholders, Project Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Business Analyst, Architects, UX
- Researchers, UX Visual Designers and Developers documenting detailed design requirements
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback results
- Build interactive prototypes for usability studies
- Participate in key meetings including daily stand-ups and planning sessions
- Inform the design process of opportunities and challenges presented by the medium through which the user will experience the product
- Stay current with UX, tools and technology
- Champion the UX approach in other departments
Services Description As a key member of our Digital Experience & Design team, the User Experience (UX) Designers are responsible for user-centered design, visualizing, and executing strategic user experiences in our digital products. This role excels as a passionate designer, collaborator, customer advocate, and continuous learner. Focused on creating delightful experiences that match user/customer needs with business goals, while reinforcing the Company's brand image. And, will work closely with a team of designers, developers, and content strategists, as well as technology and business partners throughout the UX design process.
Deliverables Description (if Applicable) The UX Designer will design, facilitate, and analyze various user research activities, including user testing, interviews, and observations, while leveraging user research insights and business strategy requirements to create innovate interactive web/mobile/tablet application concepts, and drive them to completion. They will be captivated by understanding and serving as a champion for the user/customer in every discussion and at every decision point.
