 We offer affordable supportive services, such as therapeutic laser treatments and progressive arthritic management, PAW Health’s support staff aims to improve overall quality of life for patients beyond the initial consultation of disease management.

From basic wellness to urgent care, PAW Health Network is available to see and treat patients on a same-day basis 24 hours per day including nights, holidays and weekends. PAW Health provides board-certified surgical services for a variety of pre-scheduled soft tissue and orthopedic services.

Job Description

Our comprehensive training program empowers every member of our team to achieve their personal and professional development goals - regardless of experience level!

• Provide timely and professional communications with caregivers and coworkers
  • Greet caregivers in a friendly and timely manner
  • Receive incoming calls, provide available information, and route as needed
  • Ensure caregiver information is recorded accurately and consistently 
  • Assist, coordinate and/or perform surgical appointment scheduling between caregivers and medical staff 
• Provide immediate support to all medical staff  
  • Triage & assist incoming patients based on urgency of care and available resources 
  • Interpret electronic medical records, in order to coordinate frequency of care and clerical data 
• Perform clerical duties including, but not limited to, filing, copying, faxing, scanning, linking, emailing and mailing 
• Be a resource for inventory control, to aid in loss prevention  
• Ensure lobby remains clean throughout shift
• Engage in PAW's Collaborative Process with accordance with current operational guideline
  • ​​​​​​​ Attend individual Collaborative Meetings with members of the Collaborative Team
  • Track progress through Core Training, and track issues and accomplishments as they arise
  • Provide feedback on guidelines, processes and policies with intent to improve efficiency and effectiveness Attend departmental or All-Staff meetings

Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

Qualifications

We’re looking for:

• Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience  preferred
• Compassionate and calm team player
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Highly organized and possess computer skills
• Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.
• Schedule: 2pm-11pm and 4pm-1am, every other weekend required and 4 holidays a year required

Schedule Requirements

• Full-Time or Part-Time
• 10am-7pm / 12:00pm-9:00pm shifts
• Every other weekend coverage
• Up to 4 Holiday Spans / Year
• 4 DAY WORK WEEK!

Additional Information

Pay Range: $18 - 20/hr depending on experience level
