PAY RATE: $80.50/hour

Summary:

Join the USAF E-7A Air Vehicle Production Engineering team as a Manufacturing Engineer focused on assembly and installation. This role leads Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in evaluating product development, producibility studies, and tooling strategies. You will drive the development and optimization of manufacturing plans and resolve complex production issues while ensuring design, cost, and schedule alignment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead IPTs to develop and implement build concepts and manufacturing plans

• Refine and coordinate conceptual designs and program architecture

• Conduct producibility and variation analysis to ensure process capabilities

• Resolve complex technical and manufacturing challenges

• Serve as project manager to integrate contract requirements and schedule performance

• Support research for new product and business opportunities

• Deploy Lean Enterprise methodologies and document best practices

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to peers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field

• Typically 9+ years of related experience, or equivalent combinations:

  • Master's + 7 years

  • PhD + 4 years

• ABET accreditation preferred but not required

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
