Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled .NET MAUI Developer to lead the migration of an existing Xamarin-based mobile application to .NET MAUI. This role requires strong experience in .NET technologies, mobile development, and code modernization. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in an Agile team and can deliver high-quality, cross-platform mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of a Xamarin-based mobile application to .NET MAUI , ensuring full feature parity and cross-platform compatibility (Android & iOS).
• Refactor and modernize legacy code for performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Build responsive UI components using .NET MAUI, optimized for mobile devices.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product owners, and QA testers to deliver a polished, user-friendly experience.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs, implement offline support, data caching, and secure data storage.
• Document code and architecture, support knowledge transfer, and assist in technical handoff or training sessions.
• Work in an Agile development environment using Jira , Git , and Visual Studio .

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience with the .NET platform (C#, .NET Core/Framework)
• 8+ years of hands-on development using Microsoft Visual Studio
• 1+ year of mobile application development for both Android and iOS
• 2+ years migrating applications from Xamarin to .NET MAUI (preferred)
• 5+ years using Atlassian tools (especially Jira) (preferred)
• 2+ years of experience working on State of Texas or other public sector applications (preferred)

Additional Information:

• This is a hybrid role – candidates must be located within commuting distance.
• Total estimated hours: 700 hours
• Project runs from June 23, 2025 to August 29, 2025
