About Us:

Northwood Racquet & Fitness Club is a growing multi-sport facility located in Easton, PA, with a vibrant and inclusive community of racquet sport enthusiasts. Featuring over 20 courts across tennis, padel, pickleball, racquetball , and more, Northwood offers newly renovated indoor and outdoor facilities, a full-service fitness center, and a growing lineup of events, leagues, and instructional programs. We are actively expanding our racquet sports division and overall club experience to position Northwood as the region’s premier racquet and fitness destination. As we scale our operations, we’re seeking a high-energy, people-first Assistant Manager/Director to help elevate member engagement, streamline operations, and support program delivery across all departments.

Position Overview:

The  Assistant Club Manager/Director will work closely with ownership and senior staff to support day-to-day operations, programming, customer experience, and staff coordination. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys being part of an active sports environment, has excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, community-driven atmosphere. This position has the potential to grow into a Club Manager/Director role.

Key Responsibilities:

Member & Community Engagement

  • Act as a friendly, approachable point of contact for members and guests.
  • Handle member inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and care.
  • Promote club offerings and help grow participation across programs.
  • Support event planning and execution, including social mixers, tournaments, and seasonal promotions.

Operational & Staff Support

  • Assist with front desk operations, program scheduling, and software systems (e.g., Mindbody, Playbypoint).
  • Oversee facility cleanliness, court readiness, and equipment maintenance.
  • Help coordinate staff shifts, onboarding, and scheduling.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service across all touchpoints.

Racquets Programming & Growth

  • Work alongside coaches to support tennis, pickleball, and padel programming.
  • Assist with internal leagues, open plays, and new member onboarding.
  • Help track attendance, retention, and community feedback for improvement.

Sales, Marketing & Communication

  • Assist in membership sales and onboarding processes.
  • Support social media promotions, email communication, and in-club signage.
  • Engage prospective customers through tours, trials, and events.

Financial Oversight

  • Assist in managing club budgets, tracking revenue and expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Strong financial and business acumen with experience managing budgets and KPIs.
  • Experience hiring, developing, and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Organized, reliable, and adaptable in a team environment.
  • Experience in racquet sports, fitness or hospitality operations is a plus.
  • Background in padel, tennis, or racquet sports strongly preferred.
  • Tech-savvy with familiarity in booking platforms or club management software.
  • Must be available to work some evenings and weekends.

Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 + Commission/Profit Sharing/Bonus/On-Court Earnings
